The International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN) commends the commitment, dedication and passion of all forensic nurse professionals who provide timely, sensitive and patient-centered care.

Forensic Nurse Week has been decreed by the IAFN board of directors to occur every year in the second week of November.  2009 is the inaugural year for this event, so mark your calendars for Nov. 9 -13.

The  IAFN will have materials that nurses can download or purchase to raise awareness in their organizations, as well as hold a sale in the IAFN store the week of Nov. 2; orders will be shipped expeditiously to arrive in time for Forensic Nurse Week. For more details, visit www.iafn.org
